Washington — Two potential OSHA regulations will be discussed during an upcoming Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health meeting.

During the meeting, set for 1 p.m. Eastern on April 24, the committee is expected to talk about OSHA’s rulemaking on heat injury and illness prevention, as well as infectious diseases. The meeting will be conducted virtually and via teleconference.

A public comment period will begin after those discussions. Requests to speak and written comments are due April 18. OSHA says it will post details on how to attend the meeting on the ACCSH website.

ACCSH advises the Department of Labor and OSHA on upcoming standards affecting the construction industry and “the administration of safety and health provisions” in the Construction Safety Act.
