Itasca, IL — Although Zoom meetings and virtual “chat lounges” have replaced traditional handshakes and face-to-face conversations, the virtual National Safety Council Safety Congress & Expo is still offering plenty of networking opportunities.

On March 3, attendees had an opportunity to meet with representatives from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Columbia Southern University, Consentium Search LLC and NSC to discuss safety-related career opportunities, continuing education and certifications, as well as receive career guidance. Representatives will also be available 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Central on March 4 and 9-11 a.m. Central on March 5.

In addition, a virtual chat lounge allowed attendees to chat with like-minded safety pros or send them e-messages and virtual business cards.

Did somebody say, “happy hour”? Attendees were able to meet up in one of the “networking lounges” at the end of the day to chat and catch up. Missed the first happy hour? Two more are scheduled for March 4 and 5, respectively.
