FMCSA safety advisory subcommittees to meet in June

Washington – Two subcommittees of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee are scheduled to meet (.pdf file) in June in Alexandria, VA.

The Compliance, Safety, Accountability Subcommittee will meet June 17 and 18 to discuss suggested changes (.docx) to the CSA program, which tracks and compares commercial motor vehicle carrier safety records. The Motorcoach Hours-of-Service Subcommittee is scheduled to meet June 19 and 20 to discuss draft recommendations (.docx) on how FMCSA can improve HOS regulations.

A full agenda will be available on the MCSAC website prior to the meetings. The meetings will be open to the public, and comments will be accepted until June 12.
