Offshore advisory committee schedules meeting for November

The Coast Guard's National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee will discuss safe operations in the offshore oil and gas industry at a Nov. 9 meeting in Houston.

The meeting agenda includes a presentation on the ongoing Deepwater Horizon investigation, and an organizational and regulatory update from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement.

NOSAC provides the Coast Guard with recommendations on safety and other concerns affecting the offshore oil and gas industry.
