“Kumar manages the safety program for 15 office locations across Boeing India. He facilitates a safety committee to engage employees in a proactive safety culture. Committee members regularly conduct area inspections to identify hazards and recognize other employees for their positive behaviors. In 2019, 1,174 hazards were mitigated and 69 employees voluntarily completed ergonomics evaluations across Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. Three office locations were reconstructed, including additional Boeing safety and health requirements. Over 200,632 safe man hours were completed in 2019.”
