“Sid has been the driving force in the creation of the Construction Safety Research Alliance, which has grown from nine member companies in 2019 to approximately 50 in 2021. He is the director of the research mission, leading five active research projects with a total of 79 industry professionals and eight academic researchers. Sid has been a presenter at national conferences and provided workshops to individual companies. He helped organize the CSRA’s 2020 Safety Summit. Through these engagements, Sid directly shared research-based results with 1,000-plus attendees. Currently, Sid mentors six Ph.D. students studying topics ranging from virtual reality for safety training to incident investigations.”
