“Akhil led the delivery of a behavior change initiative focused on frontline workers during the construction of Dubai Expo 2020. The initiative was deployed with visual impact training to ensure the key health and safety behaviors were understood, and supervisors were trained in an engaging conversation to get frontline workers to work safely by reinforcing the behaviors. Over 20,000 frontline workers participated and over 2,000 supervisors were trained. Akhil initiated a research project to establish the impact of the initiative. Over 100 frontline workers were involved, and the results demonstrated those trained were 3.6 times more likely to recall the behaviors.”
