“Michell is co-chair of the Dow U.S. North and Canada Reactive Chemicals Process Hazard Analysis committee. In this role, Michell leads a team of 78 individuals across seven disciplines in conducting multifunctional reviews to identify potential hazards and provide risk mitigation recommendations. This committee completes approximately 57 hazard analyses each year and, as a process safety technology leader, Michell personally facilitates 20% of these reviews. Over the past three years, these reviews have identified over 1,500 opportunities to reduce risk at Dow. As part of her role, Michell has also facilitated courses in process safety topics for over 500 Dow employees.”
